The Control & Protection department is responsible for designing, delivering, testing and commissioning the Control & Protection system utilized by HVDC.
As Manager for the Hardware Design office within the Control & Protection Department, your main tasks will be to lead a skilled team of electrical hardware design engineers in the daily work, as well as creating a compelling vision ahead.
You will also take ownership of developing the team's work processes. The work entails occasional trips globally and you will collaborate with software integration engineers, simulator engineers, development of circuit board engineers, auxiliary power/ auxiliary systems engineers, suppliers and customers in Sweden and abroad. You will lead a mirror organization at Chennai, India. We offer you the chance to be a part of a committed team that operates in the forefront of technology.
Requirements:
Experience of 2 years being line manager or 4 years being Project manager in a technical project. Experience from managing people is highly qualifying and so is experience in industrial projects and knowledge of Hardware engineering tools. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English. As a person you have a passion for people and technology, are strong in decision making and have the right inner drive to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
Last but not least you have to be a genuine team player that seeks and enjoys collaboration with peers and partners.
