The Position
We are currently recruiting for a Management Consultant to join our practice. MCs become trusted advisors to key client team members and are at the center of driving change and implementing tangible solutions.
Data analysis is a crucial part of the MC skill set, and MCs are responsible for providing the fact base for the team's decision making. However, MCs also take a proactive role in leading the problem solving efforts for a specific area of the engagement. You will learn to identify problems in a structured way, prioritize initiatives and work out solutions, and recognize when ideas are under- or over-performing expectations.
MCs also collaborate with the client to successfully execute these ideas. The key differentiator is this close, day-to-day interaction with the client, and your role as coach and mentor. Our ultimate success depends on effectively transferring knowledge and skills to our clients.
In addition to developing close working relationships with clients, you will also mentor the more junior members of your engagement team and guide them in their career growth. We are passionate about the success of our own people.
The Candidate
Applicants for this position must possess:
• Degree qualification with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
• MBA from highly ranked institution, with strong academic performance (transcripts required)
• CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accounting) and/or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification
• 5 + years prior business experience in the areas of auditing, consulting and accounting with a top tier professional services firm
• Strong background and comfort with financial and quantitative analysis, regulatory reporting and data modeling.
• Corporate client experience in commercial due diligence in some or all of the following business sectors - insurance, private equity, hedge funds or venture capital funds
• International work and/or educational experiences
• Additional language skills (not mandatory but preferred)
