Pantos Logistics was founded in Korea year 1977. With the help of its +7000 employees, Pantos provides W&D services to approximately 2,500 customers around the world. Pantos are acting in industries such as electronics, machinery, chemicals, food, fashion and much more. The company has evolved from being an air freight agent to offering services in areas such as road and rail freight, sea and air freight, warehousing, logistics consulting, terminal services and customs clearance. The Swedish branch has been present since 2017. The nordic distribution center is located in Vaggeryd, just south of Jönköping, strategically located along the E4. The Swedish branch will from Q2 2022 move operations to the new W/H site at Stigamo, Jönköping. Examples of Nordic customers are LG Electronics Nordic AB, Mill International AS, Indol AB, PLM Group, Hansol with further.
YOU
We're looking for a motivated individual early on in his/her career of Supply Chain management. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a diverse multicultural environment, having vast responsibilities and with plenty room to develop further. Suited training/education will be offered. You'll be part of a growing office team and with the W/H operation neighboring your day-to-day work. You expect to lead your work independently, show great availability towards customers/partners and continuously lead improvement activities concerning the inbound flow. You're a problem solver by heart, always available to assist, even outside your scope of operations. You're interested in global trade and transport, trying to be up-to-date with market trends, rules and legislations.
Required skills:
• B.sc in relevant field, i.e. industrial engineering, supply chain, transport management, etc.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience (internships merited)
• Basic knowledge of international trade
• Excellent knowledge in MS office package (Excel + Power BI a big plus)
• Multitasking nature, capable of prioritizing operation critical tasks to less critical tasks
• Fluent English and Swedish, both written and spoken (Korean meritorious)
Position
You'll oversee the inbound flow for our flagship customer mainly. Synergies could later be found with our further customer pool. Business scope will expand further Q4 -22. Further opportunities can arise linked to this role.
Work responsibilities:
• Inbound container control from origin until final destination arrival.
• Retrieve necessary documents for export/import.
• Updating ETA/ATA details in TMS, notifying stakeholders of delays/disturbances.
• Close collaboration with customs clearance agent, sharing necessary documents, details and standby for problem solving.
• Settle SO's including invoice verification duties (Comparing actual charges versus tariffs/spot rates)
Q4 role expansion,
• (Part of in-land transportation team, assuring most optimal routes for these DD(Direct deliveries))
• (Part of in-land transport bidding)
• (Part of C/C partnership bidding)
