Join us as a Linux Syste Administrator in Gothenburg, Sweden
As Linux System Administrator you will be the main responsible for server management and maintenance in our test lab. This role also includes installation of hardware for both servers and network (servers, racks, switches, etc.), including wiring, within the lab. You will be free design and improve the server structure as you see fit. We have both physical server, switches etc., but also virtualized servers. Our hardware is a combination of customized specific for Alstom and of the shelf. Operating systems we use are Centos, Ubuntu, Debian, FreeBSD and ESXI. Systems used for vitalization are mainly VM Ware and KVM, with somethings also running with Docker.
We don't expect you to have experience with all our systems so It's important that you are able to pick up new things and like to learn and improve. Scripting is a big part of the administrative tool, mainly ansible, experience with any scripting language is essential and Ansible is preferred. It's also good to have some web development knowledge, preferably in PHP. since we have created most of our monitoring in house using PHP. Documentation is something that is lacking now, this is something that needs to improve hopefully with the help from you.

University degree in Computer Science or similar.
senior work experience of Linux System Administration.
Network management (TCP/IP, MAC addresses, DNS, and more).
Scripts, preferably Ansible, but also Bash, Python, TCL.
fluent Swedish and English
PHP or other web development knowledge
