Arbetsuppgifter/Description of tasks
Job Purpose: To support the global Linux client environment.
Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making: The role is for a Linux system administrator role (within the Linux Client Operations team) with global focus on the Linux client environment.
Utbildning/Erfarenhet
Qualifications & Experience:
The role requires very good knowledge about Linux in general and specifically about Ubuntu. It also requires good knowledge about central management suit CFEngine (recent experience is premiered) and version handling in git. It also requires knowledge about PostgreSQL, Apache, Samba/Winbind and LDAP.
It is also premiered if the candidate have previous experience in a large scale client environment and are well rounded in large scale Microsoft based infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP and so on).
Erfarenhet/Experience
Very good knowledge about Linux in general and specifically about Ubuntu.
Good knowledge about central management suit CFEngine (recent experience is premiered) Good knowledge about version handling in git.
Knowledge about PostgreSQL, Apache, Samba/Winbind and LDAP.
Språkkunskaper/Language skills
English, fluent in written and spoken
