Working with the Head of Test and Engineering Environment, Gianluca Lombardi, within PEU Compute, Site and Infrastructure, this role is a Line Manager position for the Test Environment and STP build section. You will be leading a section composed of around 26 skilled engineers responsible for STP builds and Lab environment within EU Integrated RAN, with focus on CSI backlog, but working across PEUs to ensure high quality and prompt execution in building test position for verification and integration of feature in RA BB&SM, F&C and AAI.
You will be part of Test and Engineering Environment LT, contributing to execution, verification and delivery to customer of high quality Compute product and RAN SW features. We are looking for a leader passionate to deliver high standard contribution, lead strategy in Test Env to continuously improve WoW, efficiency while increasing Developer Experience (DX) satisfaction.
Key accountabilities of the role
Responsible for EST teams and TEE (Test Env Engineer)
Accountable for STP builds backlog within HW&Infra program (ESP)
Evolve WoW and strategy to ensure improvement both in terms of efficiency and user satisfaction.
Actively support ongoing projects and participate in reference groups related to TEE
Customer deliveries
Competence and capability for business needs, including long term plan
Qualification & Skill Requirements
M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or Engineering Physics.
Experience in STP builds and lab environment
Knowledge and experience of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices
Ability to find and drive continuous improvement work.
Experience in development initiatives in multi-site organizations or projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Business and costumer focused with a high accountability to deliver results
A genuine interest in people and be a good communicator
Fully embrace the Ericsson Leadership Framework
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
