hela Sverige Kort beskrivning av företaget: The lnstitute of Health and Care Sciences offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as individual academic courses within the first and second cycle of higher education. The basic training courses for nurses and radiographers result in a professional degree as well as a bachelor's degree. The training of midwives and the different courses for specialist nurses lead to a professional registration in combination with a master's degree. All professional programmes lead to a professional registration. Moreover, the freestanding courses are offered at an advanced level, providing the possibility to continue studying towards a master's degree in one of the institution's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. The institute also offers a postgraduate programme leading to a PhD degree in Health Care Sciences.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: The discipline of nursing develops the knowledge about health and having a good life despite the presence of illness and/or disability. It also develops the knowledge about a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not the illness nor the disability, but people's experiences, interpretations and reactions to the illnesses and diseases that form the focal point. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: The position is based within the KTC (Clinical training center) at the Sahlgrenska Academy and involves teaching and training in practical skills within different clinical areas, methods in nursing, procedures involving health technology, anatomy and physiology as well as instructing CPR training. The duties also include evaluations at clinical summative assessments. You will be working in close collaboration with the teachers for the various programmes, clinically active supervisors, teaching assistants and other statt at the KTC. The position also requires the employee to work actively towards achieving the institution's goals and business plan and to participate in common meetings and activities at the institution.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY: The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. Completed university education at the least advanced level in Nursing and demonstrated pedagogical skills. Qualification as a registered nurse. ASSESSMENT: Regulations for the evaluation of qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. First assessment criterion is pedagogical skills and good knowledge about procedures involving health technology, methods in nursing, anatomy and physiology. Previous experience from teaching at a clinical training center is a merit. In the assessment special notice will be given to applicant who is a trained CPR instructur. Further, a proven ability to cooperate and being flexible in collaboration with lecturers and students and also administrative skills is advantegous. The person applying for this position should have good ability to work as a team, structured word procedures, be organized and meticulous and have good administrative and organizational skills. You take initiative, work independently and have a positive attitude towards change and innovation. You express yourself with ease in speech and writing, mainly in Swedish but also in English. As a person, you are both flexible and stable, confidence inspiring and you enjoy working with students. Personal qualities will be of great significance.
