Radio software is part of the Product Engineering Unit Radio Unit Software (PEU RU SW) within Hardware Engineering Unit (EUHW). Radio software provides possibility to work with the newest technology such as AI and machine learning within telecommunication development and offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and challenging atmosphere. Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena meaning a multi-site organization with offices in Ottawa, Zagreb, Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Kista and Lund.

As a Lead OPO (Operative Product Owner) you will be a part of our Radio SW OPO function which is the owner of the Radio SW backlog and thus has the governance responsibility of the global Radio SW to make sure that we always have an updated and prioritized backlog.
As a Lead OPO for Remote Radio Requirement Area (RA) and for NG-OLLS, you will have the overall responsibility of the SW backlog in those RAs and to do prioritizations within those RAs and also between other RAs when needed. You are also a key player in the area of Capability planning of the RA's.
What you will do:
You will be part of RA solution team to secure Radio SW participation in concept studies and prioritize the items in Radio SW RA backlog. You will be SPOC towards CA (Continued Analysis) Kanban Masters to support OA (Opportunity Analyses) studies.
You will lead the RSW (Radio Software) Core team and balance between the capability for studies in the solution team, OA/DMS and supporting execution. You will participate in RA meetings to represent the RSW OPO function as well make sure there is a continually updated RSW capability view for the RA.
You will work closely with RA lead, other RSW OPO's, capability manager, line and teams to make sure the ask for work is in balance with the available capability set for the RA.
The skills you bring:
• Background in leading technical teams
• Proven experience in product development with a good understanding of systemization, design and verification
• Deep experience of E2E product development flow with a good understanding of systemization, development, test, release and maintenance
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile ways of working
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build networks
• Ability to identify and drive efficiency and quality improvements
• Ability to make an effective risk management and reporting
• A large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
• Business and customer focus with high accountability to deliver results
Nice to have:
• Radio telecommunication system (5G NR, LTE, WCDMA, GSM)
• Radio SW Architecture
• Radio SW and RAN UP release process flow
