Location: Landskrona office and home office/remote - this is a hybrid role
The Insight Platform team is developing ASSA ABLOY Insight and associated user applications. ASSA ABLOY Insight allows the customers to have full control of all equipment, gives Service the means to do predictive maintenance, and in the future Insight will provide full seamless access and save energy and the environment.
ASSA ABLOY Insight is a suite of application modules that simplifies and optimizes digital solutions for professional end-user experience by enabling a seamless flow of data and access in an efficient, safe, secure, sustainable, and convenient way.
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Front-End Developer to join our Insight Platform team in Landskrona, Sweden, where you'll be a part of a collaborative culture to help us take Insight into the future.
What you would do as our Front-End Developer
You will have an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies to help us strive toward innovative solutions.
Natural aspects of this role will involve writing code, improving the codebase, participating in system design discussions, participating in UX workshops, contributing to a solid and reliable architecture, setting-up work standards, and contributing as an active member of a team of developers within a Scrum and agile workflow in a hybrid setting.
You would also:
Be a part of the team designing the Insight AWS front end.
Close collaboration with other frontend developers, the product owner, and the back-end developers.
We are working according to agile methodologies you need to embrace a collaborative agile environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
Demonstrated industry experience with React JS framework and webpack.
In-depth knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and integrations.
Background in AWS.
An understanding of modern and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Basic awareness of threats to software security (for example, familiar with OWASP TOP 10).
Knowledge of Test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, continuous integration, collective code ownership, and coding standards.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
UX skill is a plus.
We believe you are reliable, flexible, and dependable with an innate positive mindset. Ideally, you are collaborative and have an entrepreneurial approach, are driven and curious about new digital technologies, as well as possessing good insight into mechanical and electromechanical products.
