Last Time Buyer
Description
Last Time Buy' (LTB) is a corporate and global process which begins when the last approved supplier of a particular product informs Ericsson that it plans to discontinue production of that product, and notifies Ericsson of the last opportunity to purchase that product.
The LTB workflow offers a cost-efficient handling of this situation, by a structured information flow, defined interfaces and responsibilities, and allocated resources.
As a Last Time Buyer at Excess & LTB Material Management you are a part of the LTB process with many global interfaces. Your main responsibility will be to manage and execute purchases of LTB components and stock control for our components in stock.
You will be part of a team working with LTB, Excess & Shortage Material Management serving the BNET Supply global activities. The team responsibilities does include purchase, stock keeping, sales and administration, whereas the Last Time Buyer is expected to, apart from your main responsibility, support and participate in all activities within the E & LTB M.M. department. The position implies in both national and international contacts inside and outside Ericsson
Qualifications
In order to efficiently serve our customers you need to be able to empower and generate energy having an open mindset and a structured way of working. A good communication skill and sense for details combined with a documented experience from previous work in purchase or logistics is qualifying.
The position requires that you are Business minded and professional in the relation with internal and external interface.
You shall have a higher education in logistics, economics, engineering or equivalent work experience.
Swedish and English conversation and writing is necessary.
