Academic Resource is now looking for a laboratory technician, preferably with experience from clinical lab / life science, to join the R&D group Growth Platform at our customer Atlas Antibodies. In this role you have an important supporting function for your colleagues in the lab, where you will work with different laboratory techniques and methods. The position is full time with placement in Bromma and you will be employed directly by Atlas Antibodies. The company was originally founded by researchers at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and the Rudbeck Laboratory, Uppsala University in Uppsala to handle the production, marketing and sales of research tools developed by the Swedish-based Human Protein Atlas program. Today the company has full in-house manufacturing facilities and offers four premium quality product lines: Triple A Polyclonals, PrecisA Monoclonals, PrEST Antigens and QPrESTs. QPrESTs are mass spectrometry standards for absolute quantifications of proteins. For further information, please visit atlasantibodies.comKey ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will reinforce and facilitate lab operations by serving as an important support function for your colleagues in the lab. Focus areas for the group are Product Development, MS standards for Targeted Proteomics and monoclonal antibodies. You will work with:* Perform routine lab work and analyses* Preparing analysis material incl. buffer preparation* Protein production* Protein Purification* Cell culture* Western BlotExperience and qualificationsWe are looking for a person with a finished bachelor- or equivalent education within a relevant field, such as Biotechnology, Biomedicine or BMA. You have practical lab experience and a broad base in biotechnology with regard to analytical methods. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and ability to familiarize yourself with new systems and programs efficiently. You have fluent knowledge of English in both speech and writing, and knowledge in Swedish is an advantage. It is meriting with experience from clinical lab and / or life science as well as experience of laboratory work according to ISO standards.In this role we are looking for a person who really enjoys and is passionate about the laboratory work.
