We are now recruiting for a Laboratory Specialist - Stability Testing
In this role, you will secure expertise, and coordinate and organize the work of the stability studies in laboratory.
Actively work on the implementation of new models and test methods for laboratory testing. Provide projects, platforms, and other customers with laboratory test data, documentation, analysis, and statistical input underpinning relevant investigations and decisions.
Your responsibilities:
Project
Responsible for coordination of stability tests within R&D.
Act as the laboratory expert within the R&D organization when new stability studies are started.
Plan and execute tests and other related tasks.
Set up, execute and update test methods in the lab.
Line
Responsible to secure compliance within assigned area and knowledge within the area of stability studies.
Plan, coordinate and execute test method development for the stability studies activities and lab evaluation/ analysis
Drive continuous improvement of laboratory infrastructure
Develop and maintain a comprehensive view within assigned area
Accountable for execution of test methods and delivery of accurate data in the lab
Develop and implement safe and efficient ways of working
Track external state of the art technologies
Continuously strengthen own and organisation's knowledge and capabilities in stability studies of products and packages
Educate within assigned area
Represent Mölnlycke in external collaborations
Maintain an external network
Engage and participate in standardisation work
Key Decisions:
Decision mandate in accordance to appointed roles in QMS and projects
Decision mandate related to technical capability
Sign off and approve implementation of new test methods
Decision of data quality and correctness
Decision on data statistical significance
Capabilities
Fully trained according to Laboratory Specialist and assigned roles according to training Matrix
Deep knowledge in working with, development and validation of test methods and instruments
Good scientific and technical competence within assigned area
General understanding of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device
Basic understanding in Design control
Understanding of Mölnlycke customer and end user needs including competitors knowledge
Basic knowledge of IP generation
Fluent English written and spoken
Good communication skills
General business acumen
Qualifications and Experience
5 years' experience within medical device / pharmaceuticals or relevant field
Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant area
Experience within Medical device / Pharma or relevant field
