hela Sverige We are looking for a Laboratory Engineer, Polymer Materials
to work in the Application Development group within Perstorp R&D, Innovation.
The main responsibility for R&D is to contribute to the innovation process, comprising application, product and process development, within the Perstorp Group and also to support business in all types of customer relations.
R&D comprises of laboratory functions, engineers, chemists and specialists in the respective area where Application Development is a vital part in the evaluation of new and existing products in different application segments as well as technical and customer support activities of diversified variety.
You will mainly work with polymer materials and your main assignments will be
• Synthesis of polymers//compounds meeting project targets
• Evaluation of new and existing products in relevant applications
• Adaption and/or development of test method needed
• Management of given development tasks
• Contribution to technical and methodological development
• Participation in preparation of technical marketing/promotion material.

Good written and spoken English skills are needed and communication and networking are important.
We believe you have a university degree, or equivalent, in chemistry with polymer/material science as a major. Experience from industrial related R&D work and hands on knowledge of synthesis and testing in the polymer material field is highly appreciated.
