You will be responsible for Kwintet's transport function in order to provide for its support of Kwintet's long term strategy. An important task for you will be to maintain and develop the global transport and customs strategies for Kwintet. You will also negotiate and renew contracts as needed within all transport modes; OFR, AFR, parcels and roads and collect KPI's, identify and deliver cost improvement initiatives.
Another important role for you will be to improve operational performance of transport providers via quarterly assessments. You will facilitate continuous improvement within transport and customs and be the functional expert in transport and customs.
You will have one direct report and in a matrix you will be responsible for the global transportation group of five people. You will work close to the International Outsourcing Manager and report directly to Head of Logistics.
Your background
Preferable you have a Master of Science in Industrial Economy/Logistics or similar combined with a solid transport background and experience from customs within a global matrix organization.
We believe that you have high negotiation skills and enjoy making the deal. Furthermore you are an experienced leader with the ability to mobilize and inspire people within a matrix organization. You have strong analytical skills, are highly structured and drives from a high level of energy.
For you to succeed in this role you need to be fluent in both written and spoken in Swedish and English.
