The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. H&M is a dynamic international workplace where high pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. Our Mens wear department is now looking for one Senior and two Junior Fashion Print/Graphic Designers. The Senior role is a 1-year temporary position and both Junior roles are permanent.
Job Description
Are you a creative, passionate and professional menswear JR/SR Fashion Print Designer/Graphic designer who would love to work at the H&M Head Office? Then one of these roles might be a great match with you!
As a SENIOR Fashion Print/Graphic Designer:
You will be responsible for driving the overall developing of, as well as creating, commercial fashion trend led print collections. There is a strong focus on placement graphics, typography and license prints. The product groups are mainly jersey but also woven products.
You will contribute with identifying updated fashion print trends for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully global perspective, as our products are sold in all H&M markets omni channel.
You collaborate with other teams and functions in the organization and bring your wide and extensive experience from working on many projects and ability to handle various stake holders simultaneously. They are Designers, Pattern Makers, Planners, Product Managers, Product Developers and Business Controllers.
As a JUNIOR Fashion Print/Graphic Designer:
You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Print Designer working together with our wider team. The role involves creating, updating and revising of graphic placement prints, repeat (aop) and license prints. The role also includes ad min work connected to this. The product groups are mens woven, jersey garments and knitwear. You bring insights to the team from always staying on top of the latest fashion print trends and varied print developments for our target group.
Qualifications
You have 1-2 years (JR roles), 2-4 years (SR role) Fashion Textile/Print and/or Graphic Designer work experience
Experience of creating fashion garment placement prints as well as all over/repeat prints
High competence in creating typography/graphic text fashion prints is required
Knowledge of different print techniques, general print technicalities and processes
Knowledgeable in textiles and materials
First hand experience from production/global print suppliers (SR role)
Excellent illustration and drawing skills
Genuine and high level fashion forward sense for global fashion and print trends
Strong eye for colors and garment-print connection
Solid and fast skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs
Strong communication skills and flexible approach
An experienced leader who thrives as a team player and brings diverse and global perspectives (SR role)
You are used to a fast-paced ever-changing work environment working in an organized, structured manner working on many different projects simultaneously
3D CLO work experience is meriting
Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)
