Job Description
Are you the right person to be a part of establishing the most loved retail lifestyle destination with quality, sustainability and modernity at its core? Are you an experienced Junior Designer who would like to develop your design skills further in our creative customer focused environment? If you have this is combination with a commercial eye, great energy and communication skills, you might be the one we look for!
As Junior Designer in our Men's department, you will be part of the collection team with the main focus to create the best offer for our target customer. Based on the visual goal, you will contribute to the collection range by supporting the Senior Designer in planning and developing the products and assortment, always keeping sustainability at the core. The focus for this role is hats, scarves, leather goods, bags & shoes. You will contribute with fresh ideas through your excellent ability to foresee and analyze upcoming trends and assist to translate them to our business concept. You will take part in fitting sessions, take responsibility of design related sample handling. Creating flat sketches of the highest standard is a big part of the job, to ensure our designs are communicated in an optimal way.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Is a Junior Designer with a BA in fashion design minimum 1-2 yrs work experience
Has a strong sense of fashion forward trends and a good surrounding world analysis with a truly global perspective
Loves working with men's collection, are business minded, goal oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset
Is highly creative and take action to be an inspiration to your team members
Preferably has experience working with different materials, accessories & shoes
Has excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite programs and illustration, also hand drawing skills
Have strong time management and organizational skills
Is flexible, open minded and positive
Can work at a high pace, unafraid of hard work in periods, high and low with no prestige
Always see possibilities, improvements and can inject and push new ideas to the team
Is a great communicator, unafraid to take a step forward and speak up
Is a driven team player and can also work independently with a strong self drive

Please also include some aspirational work suited to the ARKET customer.
This is a full time temporary 1-year contract to start asap
