In the role as Junior Controller you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring the quality of the deliveries of accounts and reporting. You will be part of the Finance team and report to the Manager of Business Controlling (located Denmark), who you will work closely with. You will have many different tasks and work with several departments in the organization, always offering great finance support, reports and analysis to support the business and decision making.
Key accountabilities:
Support the Manager of Business Controlling with reporting and follow up on performance. Participate in month-end close procedures, reconciliations of general ledger, assistance on AP/AR. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Control and reconciliation between different operational systems
• Monthly provisions and accruals for Gross Margin
• Control & creation of sales invoices
• Weekly reporting on volumes & performance
• Posting journal entries, updating financial statements
• Closely cooperate with Operational teams on both the self-billing processes, supplier invoice handling and approval process as well as ensuring customer invoicing is on time and in full
• Optimize accounts payable processes with suppliers and operation
• Cash forecasting
• Participate in Budgets & forecast
• Monthly follow up on KPI 's
Essential skills:
• Education in accounting and administration with at least one (1) year of accounting experience
• High-level attention to detail.
• Problem solver
• Enthusiastic and driven to achieve targets and objectives
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
• Team player
• A willingness to challenge the status quo
• Computer skills, particularly with excel, spreadsheets and accounting software
• Fluent in English, written and oral
