The company performs organizational reviews and implements projects for organisations such as Sida, Norad and the World Bank. SDA operates in Sweden and in countries that receive aid funding and the position requires that the candidate can travel in almost all assignments. The head office is in Gothenburg, Sweden. SDA is now looking to expand its team with a junior consultant.

Publiceringsdatum2010-10-26Dina arbetsuppgifterCarry out organizational reviews and system-based audits of both Swedish and foreign organizations are on behalf of international donor organizations. The candidate will evaluate organizations' financial and administrative routines and analyze if they fulfill the given requirements. This will include analyzing the organization's:
Governance systems
Project management and operational systems
Financial control, bookkeeping and procurement systems
Actively participate in the process of finding new assignments for the company (preparation and submission of tenders to clients).
Data collection in Sweden and abroad as well as analysis and presentation of the result to the client.
Company administrative work, documentation work.
On-the-job training will be offered to the candidate in topics such as tender preparation, project planning, project follow up and administration as well as on specific methodologies and tools needed to perform assignments for clients.
The position will require travelling to several continents. The candidate will be trained by our team of consultants and have the possibility to "shadow" our consultants initially.
Requirements:
Higher degree in Economics/Financial administration (civilekonomexamen).
Minimum 3 years experience from working in the finance department of an organization or company. Tasks performed have included:
Bookkeeping
Record keeping
Preparation of financial statements
Outstanding written an oral competency in English.
Preferred:
Fluency in an additional language (French, Spanish, Portuguese).
Experience from working overseas.
