Symcel's latest system delivers a brand-new solution for testing sterility in the growing cell and gene therapy (C&GT) market using the unique properties of the calorimetry-based detection system paired with machine learning and in-depth application knowledge.

Your main responsibilities
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Prepare comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's goals and sales targets. Implement marketing strategies to enhance company and technology awareness, the maturation of leads, penetration of new markets and expansion of the customer base.
Marketing campaigns: Develop and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing efforts, including website, SEO, email campaigns and social media, to disseminate technical content, generate sales lead and investor care.
Event management: Plan, execute and follow-up on events like conferences, user meetings and webinars.
Collaterals: Responsible for the creation and delivery of engaging and effective marketing collaterals and content (Brochures, blogs, LinkedIn posts, newsletters and posters) in collaboration with Sales, Product Management and Applications aligned with new company branding.
External Collaborations: Build relationships with key customers, industry players, agencies, and vendors.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Management and Applications to ensure the right positioning and messaging of various both academic and industry related applications-,continuously optimising on behalf of customer feedback.
Market Awareness: Keep up to date with market trends, industry changes and competitive landscape to understand client challenges and opportunities and to adjust marketing strategies and campaigns. Insights are to be shared with relevant company functions.
Budget Management: Prepare marketing budgets, monitor and analyse costs ensuring funds are allocated optimally to various campaigns and activities.
Analysis and reporting: Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


About You
For this role, we believe you excel both working on a strategic marketing level as well as on an operational hands-on level. You have experience working in a scale-up company and/or introducing a completely new technology within life science.
You are an energetic, proactive person, with a customer centric mindset and enjoys cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Proven Marketing Experience: 10+ years of successful international marketing experience from the life science industry. Experience from marketing capital equipment or in a start-up is an advantage.
Experience from regulated markets: A few years of experience from marketing solutions to customers with regulatory requirements is an advantage.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools: A few years of experience working e.g. SEO, social media and e-mail marketing.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and optimize marketing initiatives and their outcome as well as assessment of sales and market data.
Creativity: creative thinking
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and Symcel colleagues.
Proficient in English: Confident in both written and spoken English.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in life science supplemented with commercial degree or a Master's degree in life science.
Travel flexibility: Willing and able to travel at least 10-15 days per year within Europe and the US.
