hela Sverige We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to work for our client in Stockholm. Our client develops and operates one of the largest retail websites in the world. This project management role is within the division that provides IT solutions for the company's global organization.
The company is about to start the implementation phase in one project and we are looking for a Project manager that will manage the development and roll-out of the product. The project aims to build an application that will give users a simple and fun overview of relevant data to their specific role.
You will be based in Stockholm together with your team. You will work closely and collaborate with other teams to develop the best solution for users.
You will work as a full-time consultant, employed by Barona but situated at the client's office. The start of the assignment is 2017-08-14 and will reach until 2018-02-14
Work tasks
• Manage the project team and regular project management tasks
• Secure progress according to project plan
• Be involved in the negotiations for any third-party software
• Coordinate different stakeholders e.g. supplier, logistics and infrastructure
• Secure that best way of working is followed and that relevant deliverables are produced
• Cooperate with business resources
• Manage issues and risks
• Report status
We are looking for following skills
• Experience from managing software development teams
• Experience from coordination of deliveries from different parts within a project
• Familiar with PPS or similar project steering methods
• Good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken
• Familiar with modern software technology, including .net and web solutions
About you
We are looking for someone with experience of working in an environment with uncertain requirements and lots of room for interpretation. It is great if you have experience from working with offshore delivery teams. We hope you have excellent communication skills and you like to work in an environment with high pace.
