Klarna makes shopping smoooth. And we do it with flair because shopping is fun. Every day, we help customers, businesses, and partners explore just how smoooth the modern shopping experience can be.

It means we're constantly changing the game. Always trying out new things. And we encourage our people to do the same. To grow. To develop. Because we don't believe roles have to stay fixed. Instead we inspire our people to take an irregular career path. As a company of 350 dynamic start-ups, our whole business is built for it. So once you're in, there's no telling what will happen next.

What you will do
As a manager of a Productivity team you are part of designing the future state of the art digital workspace for Klarna. You will be responsible for one of the Productivity teams and together with your team drive the technical customer journey for all our employees.

At Klarna we use the term Productivity to describe the portfolio of tools and services that enables Klarna employees to be as productive as possible. This is to emphasise that employee productivity itself is the goal rather than the systems and tools themselves.

We are looking for a new manager for the Productivity Infrastructure team.

This team provides the foundation for Productivity, delivering operations and integrations for Productivity and owning self-managed productivity services/tools. This team provides services and solutions throughout the whole organisation.

The team consists of a handful seasoned and skilled system admins / managers / integrators with a lot of experience in delivering exceptional solutions, especially within, but not limited to, the Atlassian ecosystem.

Examples of tasks for this team would include but not limited to
• Ensure our infrastructure design is managed for High Availability, Performance and Security.
• Management, monitoring and troubleshooting of the infrastructure in AWS.
• Automating processes within cloud operations, security, infrastructure as code, cost optimisations, etc.
• Continuously improve both the underlying infrastructure in AWS as well as the central system configurations.Scope and implement gold standard solutions that are easy to understand and reusable. Documenting and sharing knowledge instinctively.
• Identify and communicate issues and risks proactively.
• Take ownership of incidents, with hard debugging and reverse engineering tasks.
• Support other teams in larger efforts implementing requested business processes and with end user support when needed.
• Own a problem space, articulate and develop fact based argumentation and present it to senior management or CXOs, develop vision and mission statement.
• Act swiftly to change of direction, re-evaluate priorities and steer the team accordingly.

We think the right manager for the team will have skills to execute several of the above tasks as well as managing the team.

Who you are
Klarna is looking for ambitious people with significant drive! You should be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast paced international working environment. You will play an important role in taking Klarna to the next level thus, you should desire to go above and beyond to produce best work results! At Klarna we embrace change, you should dare to challenge the status quo and be persistent.

Working at Klarna for you means:
You are creating the future workplace of Klarna, improving the productivity for all Klarna Employees is your main focus.
Within your daily work, you will own and deliver several of the most important tools supporting Klarnas productivity as well as developing state of the art integration solutions.

This includes end to end responsibility, leaving no customer behind! You will lead the work for larger goals and contribute in several areas as part of the team. You will ensure that the team deliveries are always documented properly and coordinated with stakeholders and other Productivity teams.

Since the team is an Infrastructure team you are no stranger to administer enterprise systems on Linux in AWS and you probably have some experience of developing integrations.

Continuously evaluating the teams internal routines and procedures to scale with Klarnas' expansion is crucial for a fast, tech driven company like we are.

What we can offer you
