hela Sverige Right now, we are looking for an IoT & LPWA Device Expert to Service Management and Devices in the Group Network organization in our Common Products and Services (CPS) unit .

We help and support each other, and together we make sure that our devices are optimized to work with our high quality networks, giving our customers the best network experience!
Your next challenge?
We see a need to strengthen the quality assurance process related to IoT devices with a specific focus on the radio interface and are looking for a device expert with proven experience of developing working methods, analytics and tools to secure quality of devices. You will be a member of the central Devices & SIM team in Telia Company, working closely with all our business units in the Nordics and Baltics, our network team and our external partners. Placement is Stockholm-Solna, Helsinki or Vilnius. The position will require some travelling within Baltics and Nordics.
In the team you will be responsible for:
Securing that we have a close collaboration with our device vendors when it comes to testing and implementation of new network technologies.
Closely interact with our IoT business unit, supporting with expert device IoT technology knowledge and hands-on verification, to secure service and quality assurance for our rapidly growing IoT subscriber base.
Defining and creating harmonized device requirements for all Telia markets with basis in 3GPP and GSMA specifications.
Actively participating in Network Architecture work for existing and emerging technologies such as IoT and 5G, being a key contributor from a device perspective.
Driving, guiding and assisting local country IoT device verification, debugging and problem handling.
Contributing to Device verification best practice cross Telia Group, both for existing and emerging technologies such as IoT and 5G.
Leading device trouble shooting activities, i.e. tiger team lead
Who are you?
We expect that you have a long experience from the cellular device business. You have a good understanding of the different players in the market and a passion for improvement work to give our customers the best-in-class network experience. To achieve this, it's natural for you to use different methods for quality assurance including data analytics and engaging with device vendors for joint activities.
We are looking for someone with a service-oriented mindset, willing to be active in design, verification and operational aspects of our services.
Your knowledge:
M. Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education
In-Depth knowledge of Quality Assurance related to Cellular Devices
E2E understanding of mobile communication, including NW Core, RAN, Device and SIM interworking.
Senior/Expert knowledge in Cellular LPWA technologies and subject matters, i.e. NB-IoT and CAT-M1 specific signaling and procedures, in relation to 3GPP and GSMA specifications.
Senior/Expert knowledge level of cellular (2G/3G/4G) signaling and procedures from a device perspective (PHY-NAS)
Hands-on advanced knowledge of cellular modem tracing/debugging using industry standard tools
Fluent English, both in writing and orally
Good overview and understanding of the device market and trends
Experience of IoT product RnD and cellular module integration considered a plus.
5G awareness and technical principle know-how considered a plus
IMS experience and knowledge considered a plus

Your Experience:
7+ years of technical experience from the cellular device area, your previous employer is probably a Device OEM/ODM, cellular modem/module vendor, a mobile operator or similar.
Strong strategic skills and experience from data analytics
Experience of organizational development and external partner interaction
International exposure, working with stakeholders and customers in different markets.
