We believe you have proven advanced training in business administration, finance, economics or equivalent and bring minimum 5 years' experience in business steering or finance related field. You also have minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results as well as leading and influencing teams and managers. Moreover, we expect you to have experience from managing change in a complex business environment.
You bring:
• Extensive understanding of Ingka governance and performance, and broad business knowledge and cross functional understanding of IKEA Retail operations and process landscape
• Extensive knowledge of investment calculation and real estate investment principles and deep knowledge of IKEA retail accounting and business navigation processes
• Insights in project management and knowledge of how to implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders, as well as how to set direction, create and manage long-term goals and follow-up on KPI 's
• Good knowledge of Ingka Group strategies, priorities, and strategic expansion planning process
As a person you are able to lead and coach a team of co-workers and colleagues with strong inclusive and interpersonal skills and build relationships on trust. You have a strong analytical mindset and can prioritize and make decisions with speed and simplicity. You communicate with an inspirational touch following the IKEA tone of voice.

Your responsibilities
As our Investment Manager, you will lead, coach & develop a high performing team of 6-8 skilled leaders and analysts. With your strong interpersonal skills and by leading with the IKEA values at the core, you will be able to ensure an open and sharing climate in the team, enabling all members to share best practices with and across the organization.
You will be responsible to lead the Investment Management, and follow-up processes and assignments related to the Ingka Strategic Expansion plan and Ingka Expansion process landscape, to secure sustainable growth, profitability and operational excellence. You will be part of the Investment & Operations leadership team in Group Expansion.
In more detail, you will:
• Lead, develop, support and follow-up on Expansion Business Cases in new and existing markets.
• Lead and develop the assessments and reviews of Expansion business cases and Investment requests.
• Be responsible for the development of cost management working methods and tools and enable and ensure application in Expansion and Real estate investments.
• Collaborate with other IKEA units and represent Group Expansion in various forums and meetings, whilst building Competence Development by providing stakeholders training materials to ensure Expansion Business Case and Investment Request Expertise.
• Responsible for managing goal setting, KPIs, budgets and follow up of for Group Expansion.
This role is located in Malmö, Sweden and reports to Investment & Operations Manager.
