About VGMS
Volvo Group Merchandise Services (VGMS) designs, sources, sells and distributes merchandise goods as an integrated supplier to the Volvo Group network in more than 100 countries. We operate from our locations in Sweden and the US.
All aspects of our work are characterized by the well-known core values quality, safety and environmental care. VGMS today has 23 employees based in Gothenburg and Greensboro.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Inventory Controlling:
* Prepare stock replenishment proposals for a broad range of articles
* Identify slow moving articles and to provide management with decision support
* Actively work to improve stock availability, increase inventory turn-over and reduce obsolescence
Business controlling:
* Extract data from our ERP-system (Microsoft Dynamics AX) to Excel
* Process data in Excel and maintain standardized reports
* Supply management with both ad-hoc and standardized reports
The role is also responsible for updating and maintaining data in integrated sales channels within the Volvo network.
WHO ARE YOU?
You have both the formal qualifications but also an attitude that fits with running a small business in a large corporate structure
Most important qualifications are:
* High proficiency in Excel especially in managing pivot tables with large amounts of underlying data and how to extract and import data from external sources
* Very good understanding and experience from ERP-systems on a superuser-level
* Preferred educational background is business administration
* Key factors in personality is structure and accuracy combined with a common sense understanding of business processes
* Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
