hela Sverige Husqvarna Group is looking for a motivated Internal Control Manager to join our dynamic global finance organization.
We are offering an exciting job opportunity in an international environment. As an Internal Control Manager you work proactively to drive change and propose actions to improve the governance, internal control and risk management processes. As a subject matter expert you will have an important role within the organisation and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the Group and be involved in a wide variety of tasks.
This role will report to the Finance Director/Country Officer (solid line) and Director Group Internal Control (dotted line). You will be part of the international internal controls team.
Key tasks/ What you'll do
• Develop and implement the Husqvarna internal control framework and an effective internal controls assessment process.
• Help the business develop and update process documentation including flowcharts, narratives and risk and control matrices.
• Monitor major changes in business, process and systems and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders. Ensure timely updating of controls documentation.
• Facilitate risk assessments & internal control trainings.
• Replace manually performed controls with automatic controls where possible.
• Perform internal control testing (use data analytics where possible).
• Report internal control status, deficiencies and actions taken to the Group Internal Control function.
• Help develop recommendations for policy, process, and internal control improvements.
• Advisory role to support remediation of internal control deficiencies.
• Stay abreast of changes to regulation as well as best practice within internal controls. Share your ideas and perspectives with the rest of the Husqvarna team and help us improve.
What you need to succeed
• Senior professional with at least 7 years of work experience within Finance in a listed company and/or internal/external audit. Experience from the Big4 is a plus.
• University/Bachelor degree with major in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of internal control principles (e.g. COSO), financial and operational processes, risks, and IT general controls is required.
• Significant experience working with control frameworks such as testing and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of business process controls.
• Excellent skills in English, written and spoken
• Experience in working with data analytics is a merit.
• CPA, CISA, CIA, and other professional certifications are a merit.
• Current knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (e.g. IFRS) is a plus.
