We are now looking to fill a temporary position (until December 2018) as Internal Control Analyst within our Governance & Internal Control team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Governance & Internal Control is a small team (currently five) responsible for Corporate Governance and for Internal Control. We are in the process of finalizing the implementation of an internal control framework based on COSO. In 2017 we commenced our first official Sox testing and we strive to keep up a good momentum in 2018 after the successful implementation. To help us achieve this we are looking for a suitable candidate who will cover for a parental leave. The candidate will help us update and complete process documentation to get it ready for the next round of testing. Input from the 2017 testing needs to be reflected in the documentation and we need to benchmark controls to make sure all entities are included in any relevant improvement. We also need someone to assist in planning and in performing next year's testing and to follow up on remediation work.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in updating, benchmarking and overall improvement of process documentation
Assist in planning and performing management testing according to Axis Internal Control framework and SOX
Follow up on remediation status
The role includes up to ten days of traveling per year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are an accountable and structured, yet flexible, person who take pride in doing a meticulous job. You have:
A university degree in accounting
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably from an audit firm or similar
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
THE GOVERNANCE & INTERNAL CONTROL TEAM
We are a team of five people working together with the main goal to manage compliance in an efficient and responsible way. We provide help and support related to compliance and risk management and are responsible for monitoring the operational effectiveness of the internal control framework.
