About us
As Internal Auditor you will work at the local internal audit department (International Audit Sweden) in Malmö. The department is a part of the global function Corporate Audit, which supports the Management of E.ON to discharge its legal obligations to apply duty of care in the conduct of business. Corporate Audit provides independent, objective assurance designed to protect E.ON's business, add value and improve Group operations.
About the position
As part of the Swedish Audit team, you will provide management with assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls within the Nordic area. This is achieved by evaluating processes from the perspective of governance, risk management and compliance. We 'll encourage you to develop both within your role and in the wider business as you make sure that the controls E.ON have in place are up to the task and help drive real change across the organization. Your areas of responsibility include:
* Ensuring that we adopt a smart and risk-based approach including regular audit reviews and a solid audit plan
* Undertaking internal audits of the Group sites and businesses to an agreed program of visits, auditing internal control systems and business processes
* Providing value adding pragmatic recommendations to local management to improve processes and controls within a written report
* Making follow up to ensure action actions are satisfactorily closed down
* Constructively challenging senior managers and directors on risk and control issues
* Improving control awareness across the Group by providing internal consultancy and expertise
* Sensitively managing stakeholder relationships

Your experience
In order to be successful in the role as Internal Auditor we expect you to have:
* A relevant academical education, like in Business & Administration
* Some experience from conducting audits and working in an audit/governance/compliance environment.
* Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish
You are able to analyze complex issues and situations as well as rapidly understanding new topics and the business. You will have well-developed strategic thinking skills, with an ability to think laterally and produce logical solutions to resolve issues and to identify the most appropriate course of action and an ability to effectively influence the organization.
You will have the ability to work independently but at the same time you are a team player. As you are a part of an international function you will promote teamwork across borders. You have the flexibility and willingness to travel in Sweden and abroad.
You have a high degree of client and service orientation as well as high integrity. This means you also have experience from stakeholder relationship management combined with a proven ability to network and build enduring relationships with Business Partners and colleagues on all organizational levels. As a person you will have excellent communication skills.
Note that this position has a security clearance, meaning that you will need to undergo a security clearance process before starting in this position.
