Internal Auditor
Are you in for a big challenge, like contributing to the success of a rapidly expanding global company? Group Internal Audit and Assurance (GIAA) is currently seeking a driven Internal Auditor with a can-do attitude.
Job description
As Internal Auditor you will;
Be an active participant of the preparation of GIAA's yearly plan (internal audits, balance sheet reviews, key control testing and other projects). You will also drive some of the planning activities as assigned.Manage, lead and follow-up internal audits according to the yearly plan (scheduling, staffing, onsite auditing, reporting, follow-up of action plan, closing).Provide internal audit team member trainings as necessary (classroom and Webex).Continue to review the current tools and implement new ones in order to achieve continuous improvement in the function.Manage and follow-up balance sheet reviews according to the yearly plan (scheduling, staffing, reporting, follow-up of action plan, closing).Support other internal control monitoring activities, such as: yearly Control Self-Assessment and key control testing (data analytics driven).Conduct corporate investigations related to fraud or corruption.Foster Key Stakeholder relationships.Travel approximately one week per month (10-12 weeks per year).Report directly to Vice President Group Internal Audit and Assurance.
Group Internal Audit and Assurance aims to establish and maintain a solid internal control framework. By assessing the existing processes, business risks and internal controls with an innovative approach and competent teams, they improve the internal control framework, reduces risk exposure and gain efficiencies within the Group. GIAA is an agile function, that move and adapt accordingly to Epiroc's strategy and risks landscape, adding a lot of value to the Group!
Experience and requirements
We are looking for someone with Internal Auditing experience and at least 3 years' experience of internal control or external auditing with good understanding of business processes in general, not only financially, within a Group.
Further on you have experience from business improvement and good understanding of how financial results are derived and how different actions/parameters affect the results.
Excellent risk analysis skills to be able to understand and identify risks and how different internal controls work in terms of remediating these risks.
To be successful you also need to have great communication and presentations skills and a high level of both verbal and written English. Additional languages are a plus. Meritorious as well are Data Analytics Scripting skills and if you are a Certified Internal Auditor.
University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
