Group Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve Vattenfalls' operations. It helps Vattenfall accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. Both Investigation of potential fraud or inappropriate business conduct are an integral part of the audit process. The Head of Group Internal Audit reports to the CEO and independently to the Board (Audit Committee).
Job description
Do you want to take on a diverse role where you will lead the audit team and work in an international environment? Are you ready to work with management and management teams?
You will be offered an independent and challenging position in a dynamic and international environment. The major tasks will consist in the following areas under the overall guidance from the Head of Group Internal Audit IT and referring to the standards of the worldwide Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and information Systems Audit and Controll Association (ISACA) frameworks.
Main tasks
Your main tasks will be It Audits - auditing and reporting such as
• Lead the execution of IT audits (pre-, on-site and post phase)
• Communication of results to audited management
• Preparation of audit reports summarizing, risks, findings and recommendations.
• Scrutinize relevant audit reports and Working papers prior to release, evaluate key issues and confirm the audit opinion.
• Identification of risks within the audited unit besides the audit scope performed
• Assist in the development of understanding of internal controls in the units audited
• Communication with external auditors (e.g E&Y)
You will also have Special Assignments asked for by Group due to special competence (participate in risk reviews; develop directives/instructions, etc).
Additional extraordinary accountabilities are mainly practice development containing to
Develop global audit framework/guideline (practice) for IT Governance and Security.
Manage a global team for practice development and manage constant feedback/update practice process. To support all IA auditors in executing the above practice is also a part of the position.
The role also includes Global tasks e.g support Head of Group Internal Audit IT for yearly risk assessment and develop and train junior team member within the Group Internal Audit IT.
Qualifications
At least 5 years in Audit with 2 years in VF Internal Audit or equivalent IT/operational experience
University degree in IT/business administration/economics or engineering
Extensive knowledge of General IT Controls /IT Environment
Leadership skills and ability to form teams in different cultures
Strong IT and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
International business experience
Preferably CISA/CIA/CISP
Fluent in oral and written English
