Command and Control West is growing and we are putting more effort into the integration and test area. This is a position within the dedicated integration and verification (I&V) team. You will be a part of our team's journey to grow and develop ways of working so that we can manage to deliver successfully and efficiently in our projects and product programs. The role is versatile and involve many areas from cables and hardware to troubleshooting and testing code.
To work as an integration engineer within Command and Control, means you have to understand system behavior and performance. Your main responsibilities include:

Test software with focus on integration
*
Install and configure software applications
*
Integrate different applications and subsystems from different departments
*
Troubleshoot, report defects, and analyze issues to find solutions
*
Create integration guides, and help manage our test systems
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you are a structured person with the ability to prioritize and multitask. It is important that you are socially competent since the role involve contact with different teams, departments, and stakeholders. You have experience working with integration of complex systems. You demonstrate critical thinking and creative mindset in order to find both issues and solutions.
Required skills:

Bachelor degree or work experience in similar roles and tasks
*
Experience from working with software integration and test
*
Experience in analyzing test results, improvements, fault tracing, and root cause analysis
*
Ability to work team oriented as well as independent
*
Understanding of requirement and compliance work
*
Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
*
Experiences from programming (preferably in Java)
*
Experience with network infrastructure
*
Knowledge of how Windows and Linux system work
*
Experiences from container based solutions (like Kubernetes)
*
Interest in software and hardware development
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of the development of command, control and communication systems for our radars used in the ground base air defence domain. The department consists of approximately 62 employees and consultants and we plan to grow. We have the whole chain of competences from demand to delivery within our department.
