We are now looking for a skilled Installation Coordinator to join our Construction team. Every day will be a new challenge as we're continuously looking for new, smarter ways of doing things and help our teams get better at what we achieve together. Our mission is bold - to build one of Europe's first large scale battery factories.
As Installation Coordinator within the Construction team you will coordinate different ongoing construction projects such as planning of utilities installations (process water, heating, cooling, power) and other media and preparing installation of process equipment. With a background in offshore/construction/energy process industry you are used to deliver excellent technical support to your team. You are a skilled communicator both in Swedish and English and used to speak with both external vendors/suppliers as internal stakeholders in projects. Experience from greenfield projects is appreciated.
This role will work closely with the Head of Construction from pre-construction all the way to practical completion. You get the unique opportunity to be part of building the design team of Northvolt.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate ongoing projects within the construction team.

Monitoring and balancing resources within your area.

Reviewing technical enquiries from within the organization.

Securing fulfillment of deliverables in regard to time and technical cost.

Be a counterpart towards vendors/suppliers/contractors.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree within Construction or relevant areas or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of experience in Project management/Planning of major industrial projects (Or offshore, process or energy industries.)

Experienced with budgets, project management, negotiations and contractors.

PMP, IPMA or similar certifications is a bonus.

English - written and oral skills. Any additional languages skills are a plus.

Great communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with team members and external parties such as authorities and auditors.

High work ethic, multi-tasker, strong analytical ability and attention to details, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience from working in an international environment and/or startup environment is especially valued.

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world's greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt's team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe's largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
