AI Sweden is the national centre for applied artificial intelligence, jointly funded by the Swedish government and our partners, both public and private. Our mission is to accelerate the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness, and for everyone living in Sweden.
We are now looking for up to 12 students currently pursuing their MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields at a Swedish university to join the Industrial Immersion program hosted by Dakota State University (DSU) and AI Sweden.
About the program
This unique opportunity offers a fully-covered summer internship spanning 10 weeks, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the dynamic realms of AI and cybersecurity. The program encompasses four weeks at AI Sweden's facilities in Gothenburg, followed by two weeks of travel, and four weeks at Dakota State University, delving into their renowned cyber labs in Madison. Stipend, academic credit, lodging, and airfare are included.
Students from Sweden and DSU will work to create common grounds from where both organizations can emerge their future work. Additional information about the specific industrial project will be provided to candidates who are accepted into the program.
AI Sweden and DSU will facilitate the project with faculty, advisors, mentors, hardware and software tools and a physical space where the teams will be hosted for the entire program. The participating organizations will also provide support for the success of the project outcome.

Who are we looking for?
Students eligible for consideration must currently pursue their MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields at a Swedish university and have an interest in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Participants will work collaboratively to create common grounds from where innovative projects can emerge.
