Job responsibilities
As a Design Engineer with us, you are responsible for developing products according to customer requirements and contributing with improvement suggestions based on your experience. Your main responsibilities include:
• Development of product concepts and detailed product design based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Participation in meetings and activities to ensure continuous improvements.
• Handling of D-FMEA, product specifications, test specifications and other technical documents.
• Support for test and measurement labs with tests, analyses and reports.
• Creation of data for prototypes and support for production during design and improvement work.
• Communication with customers and suppliers to ensure technical solutions and quality.
You will work closely with other functions and contribute ideas and solutions in teams to develop innovative and cost-effective products.

Other Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has/is:
• 6106 At least 3 years of university education with a technical focus or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in design, preferably safety parts in the automotive industry.
• Experience working in projects.
• Solid knowledge of Catia V5 and preferably SmartTeam or similar.
• ERP Systems
• Knowledge of mechanics, and preferably basic knowledge of mechatronics or basic electronics.
• Experience of calculations and simulations and IATF 16949 is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good IT skills
• Fail safe knowledge
In this position, there are many contacts with our parent company in Japan, which is why fluent or deeply knowledge of Japanese, both spoken and written, is a necessary skill.
