On behalf of our client in the automotive industry we are looking for a HR Specialist in Health & Saftey. The consulting assignment is aimed to start 2018-02-01 and last for one year with possible extension.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
In the role as HR Specialist in Health & Safety your key responsibilities and accountabilities are:
• Support with Health & Safety expertise and compliance assurance
• Support the implementation of Health & Safety strategy, policies, methods, tools and guidelines within area of responsibility
• Interpret national laws and agreements
• Consult the business about their needs. Develop and manage Health & Safety programs, tools, required by the business. Provide advises to the business
• Monitor work environment activities in country level are equivalent in accordance with global policy requirements, and lead harmonization when needed
• Advise the business in competence development to build effective Health & Safety management with adequate resources and competences, including talent review for Health & Safety experts as part of the talent review of the HR resources
• Ensures that communication of policies and guidelines and Health & Safety activities at a country level are harmonized
• Support in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate requirements.
* Request, coordinate and follow up on Health & Safety performance and measurement on country level
• Coordinate Health & Safety IT systems and tools on country level
• Ability to identify H&S knowledge and experience within in order to convey best practice in a country level.
Requirements
We are looking for a person with a University Degree, preferable master level in Health & Safety and minimum of 2 years senior Health & Safety management experience. To succeed in the role as HR Specialist within Health & Saftey we believe that you have:
• Minimum 4 years' experience with ability to demonstrate/develop deep knowledge and understanding within area of health & safety
• Experience from operational work in Health and Safety
• Professional understanding of Swedish laws and regulations, and deep understanding of the labour market
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into Health & Safety priorities and actions on country level
• Strong project management skills, leadership and influencing skills
the ability to work and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and multi-cultural communication skills *
• Proficiency both in Swedish and English language
