We're now looking for an entrepreneurial HR Business Partner to take part in our management.
Your mission - enhancing our performance with an HR perspective on business needs
You increase organizational performance from an HR perspective in alignment with our business needs - contributing to the development of our strategy and providing HR expertise and support for the achievement of strategic business goals. You develop both our people and our organization by securing the implementation of our people strategy and ensure its compliance with global policies, local legislation and labor agreements. Leading a global HR team, you're responsible for the activities needed to develop a culture of a high performing organization and you manage core HR policies and processes such as Talent & Succession Management, Performance Management, Diversity & Inclusion and Resourcing. As we have a strong growth agenda, you also support the business in HR related M&A activities with focus on integration, where you're a strong partner and support to our businesses.
Keys to your success
Acting as a change agent within the area of responsibility, supporting managers in driving change by offering expertise and tools.
Sourcing and facilitating the provision of services from other parts of HR.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix organization.
Ensuring that the health and wellbeing activates are followed through and being the contact towards global QEHS team.
Communicating HR strategy initiatives and process updates to managers and employees.
Liaising with Region/Country HR Manager to support alignment and create synergies within the organization.
As member of the BU's Management team and Sandvik Coromant's HR Management team, you take an active part in setting the strategic direction for the functions, execute that strategy and secure to drive overall company benefits and efficiencies by cross functional collaboration. You report to the Vice President & Head of Human Resources at Sandvik Coromant and have a dotted line to the Vice President of BU Solid Round Tools.
The location for this position is global flexible, although you're preferably based in Europe and international travel is required.
Your character - a business focused HR professional with great social skills
You have a relevant university degree, or equivalent work experience. Add to that a minimum of five to seven years of experience working in an HR profession with several different processes in a global matrix organization, containing various stakeholders. You have knowledge from designing and implementing HR strategies - while industry experience is a plus. In previous assignments, you've been an active member of a management team and you've demonstrated skills in building up a team - defining the mission, the vision, the leadership and way of working. You're aware of how to work with D&I and know the strategies to successfully drive change management, HR project management and how to implement new initiatives. In addition, previous M&A and global experience is essential for this role and as we operate worldwide, you need to be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
