We always need to be on top of groundbreaking cloud technologies. We are now rapidly growing SPS globally, and we have a great opportunity for you to lead the DevOps Software Flow unit in Kista providing the latest cloud native software pipeline solutions needed by R&D while you operate in a highly collaborative fashion interacting with developers across Ericsson. The purpose of the unit and the associated Cloud Native SW Flow Program is to drive, guide and support product development units (PDU) in their transformation to full cloud native by identifying commonalities in their CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and exploit those by developing and providing common services, tooling, automation, training material and consulting. The plan is to piece by piece unify the SW Flow for Cloud Native development and ultimately be the provider of a unified managed CI/CD pipeline for BCSS.
This role will report to the Head of Shared Software Pipeline
What you will do
Lead and manage all the activities of the BCSS, Software production system in PDG Shared Software Pipelines, DevOps Software Flow unit in Kista, Sweden
Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
Recruit top talent for the unit and the program
Enable a good collaboration with other SPS DevOps units and key partners.
Be an active member of the PDG SSP leadership team and continuously contribute towards reaching the objectives of the unit.
You will bring
A University degree in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
Systems Management Experience
Overall knowledge of Cloud Native Software Development
A solid passion for improving the development environment (e.g. CI/CD performance, CI/CD tooling and task automation, DevOps practices, etc.) for our people to enable and empower them to reach full potential
Deep understanding of the R&D flow as well as of Lean and Agile methodology
Solid experiences from leading software development according to scrum-based ways of working
Deep understanding on how to perform efficient Development and Operations including continuous design, integration, deployment and operations
Demonstrated leadership capability
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
