Our Exciting Opportunity
As Head of Sales Tactics within Portfolio Sales support you will be part of the Portfolio Sales support Leadership team. In this role, you will support the Head of Portfolio Sales support to drive focus initiatives such as increasing market share which is focusing on the High impact and Strategic deals globally.
You will also drive the creation and implementation of the latest sales tactics (radio and transport portfolio) including standard methodologies to increase BNEW sales and market share. The work in High Impact Deals (HID) focuses on the solution strategy (Software, Hardware), techno-commercial value proposition, competitive intelligence and new solution requirements.
The role also involves leading a virtual team's primarily within Portfolio Sales support and Market Areas (MA) with close interaction with Commercial Management, bid Office, Product Lines, Product development units and cross-functional team. Build-up and scaling of competence in the Market areas and Bid Office is a key result of the role with a key focus on new Areas (e.g. O-RAN).
This role will report to, Head of Portfolio Sales Support.
You will
Work as a portfolio manager for Sales Tactics focusing on the solution area hardware and software
Drive creation and execution of solution value argumentation and Sales Tactics based on inputs coming from Solution leads
Secure competence build up and delegation to MA and BO
Systematically improve techno-commercial material
Secure cross collaboration of solution and commercial teams to reach new insights
Actively participate in Competitive Intelligence community and focus on the long term competitive landscape to ensure with increase our win rate in HID's in a profitable way.
Build and drive new initiatives with good structure to increase collaboration between Product Line's, Portfolio Sales Support, Bid Office, Commercial Management, and Market Area.
Manage the Market Area requirement Process.
Manage the HID and Transport Top deals monthly Drumbeat.
Manage the HID and Transport Top deals Bid office quarterly review.
Ensure that the HID, and Transport Top deals status is updated.
Ensure the agreed Key Performance Indicators for Portfolio sales support is updated on a monthly basis.
Create Sales Performance material is updated based on HID wins and Delloro quarterly update.
Work closely with Marketing team on providing Market Area feedback on the latest hot topics, (Open RAN/O-RAN etc.)
Actively work with Product Area Networks (PAN) competence team to provide inputs for Hot topics.
To be successful in the role you must have
A university degree in engineering and/or business studies
Excellent analytical, consultancy and strategy skills
Solid execution, structure, and presentation skills
Consistent record of driving market share growth and handling of HID
Excellent ability to operate in a cross-organizational environment
Experience to lead virtual teams and execute projects/programs
MA experience of working in High Impact deals
Experience of handling projects with tight deadlines with quality.
Experience from managing stakeholders in Business Area and Market Area
Strong background backed up by ITM evaluations
Customer Insight & Value creation
Excellent cooperation skills and a great team member
