Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, our mission is to provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers - helping them deliver better results every day.
We are now looking for Head of Project Delivery to have Nordic responsibility for delivering successful projects and to manage our cluster Project Management organization. Our preferred candidate is a customer-centric respectful leader who has a strong understanding of project management, contract logistics industry and businesses requirements, as well as possesses a track record of delivering in past roles. We want you to be an important contributor to our Leadership culture "Head, Hart and Guts".
Your main tasks include:
• Manage and develop the Nordics Project Management function as a core enabler to support wider business objectives creating development opportunities for your organization
• Accountability for successful implementation of projects in the Nordic cluster ensuring full compliance with DHL standards, required documentation and framework approach
• Ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to projects
• Monitoring and reporting project and start-up phase performance to Senior Management
• Assessing and identifying project risks and implementing mitigation actions
• Collaborating closely with other key support functions such as Business Development, IT, HR and Finance
We expect you to have:
• Strong understanding of contract logistics industry with relevant long-term experience
• Proven experience from some of the major project management methodologies
• Professional project management certificate
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge
• Track record of delivering and career progression
• Business acumen with strong and convincing communication skills fluent in English
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with a strategic and customer-centric mindset
• Ability to make decisions and deal with pressure
• University degree within supply chain management or equal
In this role you would report to Nordics Board member, Head of Operations Excellence. Location preference of the role is in our Nordics Head Office in Stockholm, although not mandatory.
