And the People Experience organisation plays a vital part in making this happen by attracting, recruiting, and developing the talents needed to deliver on these exciting and challenging targets.
We have a rare and very exciting opportunity to join us at Volvo Cars as the Head of People Experience Digitalization in our People Experience (PX/HR) organisation.

What's in it for you?
As the Head of People Experience Digitalization you are the Business Owner of this domain and are as such responsible for all core employee/workforce data and the organisation's ability to leverage on insights based on this and other data. You will also lead the development of the global, digital strategy in People Experience and together with the Digital (IT) organisation make sure it comes alive. You will lead a team with a total of 19 employees, whereof 3 reporting directly to you.
The team consists of cross-collaborative product teams supporting the entire Talent Journey. The teams' responsibilities span across the areas of core employee/workforce as well as organisation structure data, talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, performance, and reward. In addition, there is People Analytics responsible for making people information and insights accessible to the organization and this team also owns our people survey solutions including the Engagement Programme.

What you'll do
You will work in close collaboration with other PX/HR Business Owners to ensure a user experience of Volvo Cars end-to-end processes with the digital tools supporting them. This role makes sure the employee/workforce data fundament is there and that we get a great total user experience through our digital tools. When developing and executing on the PX/HR digital strategy you will interact closely with Product Area Leads, Product Managers, and other counterparts in Volvo Cars agile digital product organization.
You continuously interact and communicate with many different internal and external stakeholders to improve and future proof the tools and ways of working. Stakeholders include end users, business PX (HR), our digital organisation, executive management, finance, and vendors to mention just a few. You will also work closely with our local capabilities team which handles the local digital solutions, e.g., related to time and pay - to connect the global and local digital people experiences.
You will be part of the People Experience Management Team (PXMT) which is the People leadership team in Volvo Cars. In this capacity you will also have an influence on a broader spectrum of People Experience matters.

You and your skills
We are looking for a person with a very strong track record in the HR digital arena, preferably of leading an HR IT department in a company of our size which has undergone significant digital transformation including agile ways of working. You are very familiar with the various global people tools on the market and have led global digital implementations.
You bring great strategic and holistic skills and with drive and focus, you make sure the strategy becomes reality. Making the complex simple is one of your super-powers; you package, brand and communicate the vision and strategy of how to get there in a way that creates clarity and inspires the company to get to action!
You have an outstanding capability to balance different stakeholders to be able to make decisions that are best for Volvo Cars globally. You love new digital solutions and innovative ways of solving complex issues. You have a structured approach where you always put the end user/customer at the center to realize true business value. As a leader, you are inclusive and are known for creating an open and trusting environment. You are passionate about bringing out the best in every individual and you are great at empowering diverse and global teams.
