Forum Syd is now looking for a Head of Hub Multiregional
About the position and areas of responsibility
Forum Syd will implement a new organisation in order to increase effectiveness and coherence in our development cooperation, reinforce member value and strengthening the link between our development cooperation work and external communication. The Head of Hub Multiregional will play a key role in this work.
The Head of Hub Multiregional will be responsible for the Country Offices Somalia, Cambodia and Sweden. Staff at Country Office Sweden will report directly to the Head of Hub Multiregional. Staff at Country Offices Somalia and Cambodia will report to their respective Head of Country Office, who in their turn will report directly to Head of Hub Multiregional.
• Country Office Sweden will be responsible for:
• Operational work with sub-granting
• Trainee program
• Other projects and programs including Eastern Partnership
• First-line helpdesk for SvEO*
• Administration sub-granting including organisational assessments
• Training of SvEO* including eLearning
• Country Offices Somalia and Cambodia will be responsible for:
• Innovation, program development and fundraising
• Participation in method development and adaptation of methods to local context
• Program/project implementation
• Platform role and context analysis
• Capacity-building including eLearning
• Communication
• Finance, Risk & Security Management and HR
Qualifications required
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent qualifications obtained in another way
• Extensive experience of leading managers in other contexts and from a distance
• Experience of working with relocation of operations
• Experience of work in an international context
• Experience of change management
• Ability to understand complex operations
• Very good ability to express oneself orally and in writing in English. Good ability to express oneself orally and in writing in Swedish.

This position is a full time (100 %) permanent position starting 1st January 2017. This position is located at Forum Syd's head office in Stockholm, Sweden.
Duty travels are part of the position and may include duty travels to risk areas such as Somalia.
