Sobi has been expanding its organization across geographies and building its product portfolio for the past number of years.
We are now looking for a Head of group Accounting to strengthen the Group accounting team. You will be supported by a team of two group accounting specialists and will report to the CFO.
Key responsibilites
Preparation of Sobi's Group Consolidation on a monthly basis and assuring compliance with IFRS. This includes preparing quarterly reports and the financial section of annual reports.
Driving efficiency and process automation.
Provision of internal expertise in connection with acquisition processes from an IFRS/accounting perspective.
Contact with auditors on behalf of the company.
Participating in and providing input on tax reporting together with the Tax Manager.
Providing support for improvements projects
Ad-hoc work in relation to responsibility
Qualifications / Who you are?
You have a in-depth knowledge of IFRS and extensive experience of consolidation. The ideal candidate wll have worked with group accounting in a larger and/or growing international Nasdaq-listed company or as an auditor for at least ten years.
You hold a university degree in finance and are used to working independently and proactively in a rapidly changing and expanding environment. You have the ability to switch focus from attention to details to''the big picture''. You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
As a person you are service minded with a strong collaborative approach. You will work closely with other departments such as Accounting, Business Control, Communication Treasury & Tax. You are a strategic thinker but are not afraid to be hands on. You are a good communicator and enjoy building and maintaining networks. You are fluent in English and Swedish. Our corporate language is English and you will use it everyday in your international contacts. previous experience of the Cognos reporting and consolidation system is considered an advantage.
