Place of action
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.

Gripen Export is part of the Business Area Saab Aeronautics and is a truly international organization which acts as a prime contracting organization responsible for marketing, selling and supporting the Gripen fighter worldwide in co-operation with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.

The Head of Contract will be part of the Saab Aeronautics Gripen Export organization.

Your future action
The Head of Contract will within the area Gripen Contract(s) via Swedish Government to end-Customer, be responsible for: 

• management of existing contracts and be accountable for profitability under given business conditions.
• being focal point towards the customer in all aspects of the contract/commitment
• contacts/coordination with the customer as well as with sales and marketing and other organizations within Saab.
• close coordination with the Swedish contract organization (Gripen Navet)
• development and support of order intake concerning follow-on businesses within each respective contract/area, in close cooperation with country responsible person.
• that contracts are carried out with focus on customer satisfaction and profitability. Time, financial and technical management of the organization to fulfill all objectives of the contracts.
• to define the contracts technical, time and financial requirements and to communicate these to the operational organizations as work orders.

• have good knowledge of the company

The successful candidate will have either a Master’s degree in Program Management or previous relevant working experience in an international environment (preferably both).

An advanced understanding of English, including high level of competence and confidence in reading, writing and verbal reasoning is essential, and preferably also another language. Willingness and ability to travel when required is a prerequisite and experience of an international working environmental preferable.
