Then you might be the right candidate for the position as Head of Communications Northern Europe to BMW Group Northern Europe.
Publiceringsdatum2015-02-06Dina arbetsuppgifterHead of Communications Northern Europe acts as the company's spokesperson and representative of the BMW Group Northern Europe towards media, politics and other stakeholders. The position is responsible for planning and managing the implementation of the BMW Group Corporate Communication Strategy in Northern Europe.
This role will strive to protect and enhance the reputation of the company (BMW Northern Europe, MINI Northern Europe, BMW Motorrad, BMW Financial Services) and its brands in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland including the Baltic states. Head of Communications Northern Europe will also manage industrial and governmental relations. The position has four direct reports and direct contact with four PR agencies as well as press fleet management agencies.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Pre-Requisites for the function:
• Strong understanding of Northern Europe media and political landscape
• Proficient in being strategic and tactical
• Skilled integrator with an intercultural understanding due to the different nationalities in NE
• Good negotiation and inter-personal skills
• Good presentation skills
• Minimum 10 years practical experience with at least 5 years in a Corporate Communications management position in a multinational company
• Steering experience of market communication functions
Desirable:
• Post-Graduation - MBA on Mass Communication desirable.
• Experience in steering the communication of Nordic countries preferable
To succeed in this role you are a natural leader with excellent managing competences. As a person you are professional, structured, target driven, innovative and credible. You are analytical and enjoy speaking in front of groups. You also have a high level of understanding when it comes to customer satisfaction. In order to succeed you have a high stress resistance and able to manage multiple parallel projects. You have a University Degree as well as excellent Swedish and English language skills. Scandinavian language skills and German language skills are qualifying.
The function is located in Sollentuna, Sweden.

In 2004 a Nordic import and marketing group for BMW, MINI and BMW motorcycles including parts and service in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the Baltic markets was founded. Today BMW Group Northern Europe has about 150 employees and about 160 authorized dealers and workshops in the region. Last year 2014 was a yet a record year for BMW Group Northern Europe with total sales volumes of closer to 36.000 BMW, 2.400 BMWi, 3.600 MINI and about 2.000 Motorcycles which is an all time high for BMW Group in the region.
