Wehype is The World's Largest Esports & Gaming Media. We are the leading influencer marketing solution specialized in Twitch and YouTube, reaching 2B+ gamers worldwide.
Since 2016, we have grown to more than triple the size today and work with brands such as MSI, EA, and Activision.
What are our plans for 2021?
2021 will be another year of growth for us. We will go from 19 to 38 people, move into larger, brand new office facilities, and expand globally.
As our Head of Commercial Strategy, you will be responsible for working with our commercial and business strategy going forward. We are growing fast, but influencer marketing in esports is still a relatively new ad medium. So, your role will much about pioneering the way that brands reach gamers worldwide.
You will
• Build out Wehype's commercial and business strategy
• Develop Wehype's ad offering tailored to both gaming brands, non-gaming brands, and media agencies
• Identify and implement new business opportunities
Who you are
To thrive in this role, it is important to us that you have
• 10+ years in media and advertising
• Extensive experience from crafting scalable advertising formats, pricing models and media measurement processes
• Been part of a journey where you have seen a big change in ad formats and how these can be marketed to brands.
• Experience translating strategy into execution.
• Broad knowledge of process implementations, organizational structures, and using technology to optimize a function.
• Understands how to work and thrive in an entrepreneurial startup environment with a balance of doing the work and guiding the work.
