You will be head of our Flight Operations department with full profit and loss responsibility. The organisation is providing services within our four main areas:
* Special Flight operations
* Installation, upgrades and services for navigation aids at airports including flight calibration
* Establishing and performing test programs and test flight for Saab civilian and Airborne ISR programs.
* We are an integral part of our large programs and have own direct contracts with our customers.
Tasks in this role will include:
* Managing the department with full profit and loss responsibility
* Securing delivery according to commitment in own contracts and as a supplier to other Saab organisations
* Developing and maintaining the product portfolio in order to meet budget and strategic business plan objectives
* Attracting new and developing our employees in a growing organisation adapting to new requirements and technology development
Your profile
You have a very good business understanding and are used to efficiently collaborate with team members as well as other stakeholders. You are a self-motivated person with a driving force to achieve the department targets.
Required skills:
* Experience as manager, with documented good leadership
* Good understanding of different business models
* Very good understanding of aviation regulations
* Good communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Flexibility, service mindedness and a motivating leadership
* Interest in developing the ways of working and our employees
Desired skills:
* The experience and the personal qualities to make you able take on the the role as Accountable Manager in our applicable aviation approvals.
What you will be a part of
You will be an important part of Aviation Services backbone business and part of the management team that shall lead us to our business plan objectives in the next century. The team you will head of consists of approximately 40 employees based in Arboga, Linköping and Nyköping. Aviation Services fosters personal growth and offers broad experience in all kind of aviation support which forms excellent possibility for further career development.
Flight Operations department is part of the Business Unit Aviation Services within Business Area Support and Services.
