The objective of the Finance and Business Control function (KC), is to support and ensure profitable and cost-efficient business activities within Sales and Marketing (S&M). The department is responsible for the analysis and follow-up of S&M's global activities, both in Europe as well as other parts of the world. The function comprises several activities whose duties include controlling, analysis, accounting and reporting as well as inventory records.
Due to changed strategies and business activities resulting from S&M's global responsibilities and different, changed and increasing demands KC are facing a time of changes. We will face increased and new requirements for analysis and follow-up procedures. Our business keep expanding into new areas and at the same time we want to develop towards being a more efficient and flexible financial department. We are looking for a head of Accounting and Reporting to be a part of our team.
Your work duties
Manager of Accounting and Reporting should actively lead and be responsible for working with current accounting and financial statements for Sales and Marketing Group.
Manager will with comprehensive and holistic view drive development and change in the accounting- and reporting area in Sales and Marketing. Furthermore, the area promote accuracy and high ethics in this area.
Manager of Accounting and Reporting will work close to the operations and have good knowledge of the financial system and the different systems and processes that provide the financial system with information. You will get a chance to gain a good understanding of S&M's business activities and knowledge of the products we sell.
The position gives a successful candidate a good background for a further development within KC and Scania. You will participate in and contribute to developing our processes and methods. You will be working closely with others in Finance and Business Control and get into contact with other departments within S&M.
Your profile
We are looking for an MBA in Economics and Business Administration with specialization in accounting or financial management. You have worked with accounting and reporting for many years, and above all have a keen interest in accounting from a practical, analytical and system solution perspective. You are an experienced system user and have a general interest in systems and processes. You preferably have experience in Oracle Financials and are an adept Excel user. Experience in the Hyperion Financial Management for group reporting is meritorious. You have a good command of English, both spoken and written and are fluent in Swedish.
As a person you are responsible, organized and accurate, and has a problem-solving analytical skills. You are good at converting needs into clear goals and deliveries of both ongoing work as changes. We think you'll enjoy working in a fast pace during the set time frame and also that you have the readiness to change and influence the processes in our daily activities. Previous managerial experience is meritorious. As a manager, you are a perceptive leader with good insight in how to motivate employees and develop an effective team.
