Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. One of the key functions within Sourcing is Electric Supplier Quality Assurance (Electric SQA), which leads all electric supplier and bought electric component quality assurance and supplier development activities within Husqvarna.
About the job
You will lead the GSP SQE Team for daily management and together with the Team you will drive supplier improvement actions towards ppm targets. You will plan, monitor and follow up SQA team activities in NPI Projects. As a SQA Director you will report to Sr. Director GSP Sourcing and participate in GSP Sourcing Management Team. You have the budget and personnel responsibility for GSP SQA Team.
Further your tasks will be:
• Evaluate, monitor and report defined supplier KPI 's on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist with supplier process improvements and data analysis.
• Participate in internal quality related forums/meetings as SQA representative.
• Take lead in initiation, follow up and closure of all Supplier Corrective Actions.
• Train and develop SQA team in supplier quality related topics.
• Frequently interacts with internal and external stakeholders
• Building productive internal/external working relationships.
This Position requires Global travel mainly in Asia approximately 30-50 days/year
Relevant background
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with supplier quality related topics and manufacturing engineering experience in relevant area.
• Possession of recognized qualification in quality engineering, audit processes and relevant certifications is of a clear advantage
• Knowledge of electronic drawings, specifications and standards (IPC standards or other related international standards).
• Management experience with personnel and budget responsibility
• Quality assurance, supplier development, and general manufacturing engineering experience is of a clear advantage
Fluent English and Swedish both written and orally

• Thorough working knowledge of quality systems methods and quality engineering practices.
• Demonstrated experience in performing assessments of new and existing suppliers.
• Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated, result driven / goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.
• Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management.
• Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database application
Your personality in combination with relevant education, work experience and passion for working as a leader will be important in order to succeed in this role.
