We are now looking for a Manager Marine Testing. In this position, you will work in close collaboration with the Manager Workshop in driving our Test & Demo Center at our site at Krossholmen. This site consists of two teams that constantly develops and operates the Volvo Penta Marine Test and Demo Center.
Your primary mission will be to nurture the development of your team, recognizing that our collective success hinges on looking out for one another and making sure that we have the tools and knowledge for success both on an individual and team level.

Who are we?
In Product Development, we are responsible for advancing and optimizing both Marine and Industrial applications. We also manage our test facilities in Lundby and Krossholmen, which also gives you a great work environment with our archipelago outside the window.
Our primary focus centers on marine application development, encompassing performance, emissions, reliability, and durability across all driveline platforms. Additionally, we conduct tests on industrial engine applications plus a segment of our Test Center is devoted to showcasing our Marine products to internal and external stakeholders.
The team is a mix of Test Engineers and NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) Engineers, and we are currently in search of a person who personifies creativity and curiosity - a manager who is committed to enhancing both the team and customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
As the manager, your responsibility will be to motivate and drive a team toward the goals set within Product Development. You will oversee the allocation of resources and the development of expertise within the engineering profession, with an emphasis on fostering the adoption of standardized test methodologies. Collaboration and inclusiveness will be fundamental to your approach, as you excel in these areas.
You will serve as an advocate for our testing operations, both within and outside the organization. After all, if we do not embrace change, who will?
Regarding embracing change, you will have the opportunity to influence processes and way of working in the Testing & Laboratory Management Team.

You need to have:
A Master's degree or similar
Proven leadership skills
Fluent in both English and Swedish
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in engine, driveline and product development, coupled with a strong aptitude for nurturing the growth of team members. Furthermore, you should have a business-oriented mindset and approach challenges with a customer-centric perspective.
