We are now acceleration our efforts to deliver outstanding service to our stakeholders within Volvo Buses and we are looking to strengthen our leadership team with a Group Manager within Verification and Validation Testing.
Who are we?
The management team are made up of 3 group managers, all working very close together to develop our department to meet future challenges. We are all located in ARAL, Arendal, Gothenburg.
Our area of responsibility is to build and maintain test objects, from plan to final delivery, and to perform and develop tests to visualize and secure quality status of our products.
Your future team consist of 17 persons, all with different competences and skills within testing.
Main tasks
In this role you will have the responsibility to develop the group and the people to support future challenges contributing to Volvo Buses profitability. Within this responsibility you will need to define, agree, communicate and execute strategies and targets for the group. Our test codes are under your responsibility, and we constantly need to develop our test codes to meet our customers' needs. Planning, prioritization, and direction setting for short- and long-term activities are part of your day-to-day activities. You will need to secure good networks within and outside of the Volvo Group.
In this position you will report to Director of Verification & Validation.
Are you a match for us?
You have previous manager experience (project manager or line manager) with excellent communication skills.
Business oriented with a clear customer focus, preferably from automotive.
Good knowledge of testing, measurement equipment and tools.
Ability to describe dependability's and by that create understanding for how we contribute to our customers success.
High technical interest and vehicle knowledge.
Ability to recruit and develop effective teams were people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries and create a knowledge growing organization.
