The Global Supply Chain Excellence team runs the development of supply chain strategy, deploys best practices within global supply chain operations, and defines and implements global policies & standards. As of October 2021, Global Warehousing is a key part of the department, ensuring industry standards and operational excellence within our warehouses.
We are looking for an additional committed team player to our department, taking on the role as Global Quality Specialist.
Your mission
The Global Quality Specialist has a key role in the team. You will act as the Global Supply Chain's authority and decision maker in regard to Quality. This means developing quality standards for our warehouses to follow, providing training in ways-of-working, and securing we have the right metrics to track & improve quality. Warehousing should be based on industry standards, focus on eliminating waste, and drive excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You might also participate in running projects to set up new and/or restructure warehouses, or support on WMS-implementation.
The focus is on putting in place global standards, metrics, and ways of working to be rolled out in all our warehouses, globally, which in turn will allow our DC managers to achieve industry standards and operational excellence. This challenging role requires taking a step back to focus on the big picture, based on years of experience within the four walls of the warehouse.
Your profile
We see that you have documented expertise in driving Quality improvement initiatives along with hands-on experience working within a warehouse. You have previous theoretical expertise within quality management, for example the Seven Tools of Quality or the Toyota Way / TPS etc.
You have Degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related subject as well as solid English communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional languages will be meritorious. To enjoy the work as Global Quality Specialist, you have a passion for quality. You enjoy putting in place standards and processes to help others improve quality. You have a gift for teaching and enjoy sharing the knowledge you've accumulated from years of experience working in and with warehouses or factories. You may have been involved in successfully changing how your previous employers worked with quality, for the better. In addition, you have a firm understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.

Location and travel
Location is to be decided, could be in Örebro or Fagersta, Sweden, but could also be Dallas, USA. Regular travel is required.
